EXPERIENCE
Guillermo joined H&A in 2016 and now he is the Head of the Trademark department in our Argentina office.
He has been entrusted with the coordination of working groups and has undertaken tasks focused on the administrative management of files, where he applied the knowledge acquired from the public and private sector. He worked as a legal advisor for the National Trademark Office administered by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) over a span of eight years. Additionally, he rendered his services to two leading IP firms in Buenos Aires, namely: client consultancy, industrial & intellectual due diligence projects coordination, copyright and domain name counseling, general counseling for clients in intellectual and industrial property matters as well as in terms of planning the most efficient management of the clients' intangible assets.
From 1992 to 2000, he worked for the Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Industrial (INPI), from 2000 to 2003 for O’Farrell Law Firm and from 2003 to 2016 for Clarke, Modet & Co., an Argentinian Law Firm.
Guillermo has been a lecturer is seminars, workshops and expositions held by public and private organizations, both in the City of Buenos Aires and across the country, mainly in the cities of Rosario, Santa Fe, Cordoba and Mendoza. For example, he was a lecturer in charge of the Trademarks and Trade Name orientation course designed for those applicants registered to obtain the IP agent license, held by the National Institute of Industrial Property, from 1996 to 1999 and also a lecturer for the Intellectual Property Module pertaining to the graduate course of study held by the Universidad de Mendoza, between the years 2013 to 2015.
