EXPERIENCE

Jon joined H&A in 2013 and has combined advising clients with his work as a patent technician and member of the Intangible Asset Valuation department, which he has headed since 2019. Based on this, he has experience in technology transfer, intangible asset valuation and management of tax benefits by Patent Box, being an advanced user of IPScore (EPO’s software for valuation).

Linked to intellectual property since 2011, he has extensive experience in global and strategic advice to clients across the entire spectrum of the protection of their rights.

He has participated in multiple training sessions on Intellectual Property and valuation, both in-house and with the collaboration of different associations (CEIPI, EOI, AMAVI, etc.). In 2020 he created the Intangible Assets Valuation Committee within the Spanish chapter of the Licensing Executives Society, which he directed until 2022, and of which he continues to be a member. In 2022 he started collaborating with AMAVI (Association for Management and Valuation of Intangibles), helping to create the association and the "IP Valuation Qualification" certificate.

In 2022, he became head of the H&A office in Bilbao, which serves the firm's clients in the northern area
