    The streamlining Latin American Patent service was established more than 20 years ago. 15 years ago, we decided to open our own Offices in LATAM. Our Offices in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia count each on teams of between 10 and 15 professionals which closely work together with our Latin American Desks in Europe and Mexico. Overall, we are yearly handling +2000 new applications in all Latin American countries.

    Latin America is composed of a multitude of very different jurisdictions. Unlike in the European Union, legislations are not harmonized which makes formalities a very important and challenging aspect of the patent prosecution. We take these formalities very seriously.
